Croatia, November 22 (CD) – The Croatian Parliament MPs have given their support to the arbitration agreement signed between Croatia and Slovenia paving the way for the border issue between the two countries to be finally resolved.
PM Jadranka Kosor said speaking to MPs prior to the vote that all had been done that could be done and that Croatia was on the right path.
Some 126 MPs voted in favour of the agreement, while six were against.
Among those against it was the current SDP presidential candidate Ivo Josipovic and Ivica Pancici of the SDP, as well as Damir Kajin of IDS another presidential candidate.
The fortunes of the two said presidential candidates may be affected by this vote in a positive or negative way, depending on the views on the issue by their potential supporters.
