The restructured shipyard NCP Remontno Brodogradiliste Sibenik has signed a contract with the Nordic Aqua Boats AS from Norway on the construction of 15 catamarans in the next five years.


The boats, which are to be used for supplying fish farms and for their maintenance, are 13 and 15 metres long and are equipped with cranes.

The first catamaran is to be built in five months' time, and two more are expected to be built by the end of 2010.

Nordic Aqua Boats AS is a brokerage specialising in the construction and purchase and sale of boats for its clients from Norway, Scotland and Ireland.
